Sarah Joyram’s mixed media paintings are inspired by her local landscape and her wildlife garden. She often paints en plein air and can often be found sketching in the flower beds.
Studio in Cumbria
Based on a Cumbrian sheep farm, Sarah combines muted natural earthy colours of the local fells. The vibrant colours of pink, oranges and turqoise are often featured to depict her favourite flowers.
Landscapes & wild flowers
Sarah's artwork is infused with the essence of the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales fells, hills, and wild flowers such as teasel and foxgloves.
Expressive Mixed Media
Sarah creatively layers diverse materials and textures to bring nature’s complexity to life. Brightly coloured inks, paints, pastels and pencils are all layered into a dynamic fusion.
Flowers and Vases
Sarah loves vintage pots, especially when combined with flowers and plants from her garden.
